A central principle of social nudism is that we learn to take the body as it comes, which doesn't work if everyone hides behind a specific set of social expectations about how they are "supposed" to look. Shave if it pleases you to do so, but don't do it just to look like other people on the beach.

Do what makes you comfortable. If you like hair on your body, keep it. If you want to try smooth, shave it. Just do what will make YOU feel good.

Got more hair than I care for, like when bugs get stuck on my shoulders. But clearing it is too much work so I just trim in a few critical places and don't give it much thought.
